Geoff Parr's exhibition "Storylines", held at the Criterion Gallery featured thirteen pieces of photographic and digital montage, each delicate and sensual in nature. By juxtaposing sharp images of exotic locations with manipulated and textured images of the body, the works offer a fragmented composition. In my opinion, this technique results in a contridictionary experience; both soothing and unsettling. I felt that the materials used (Archival Digital Print on Rag Paper), furthered and continued the delicate aesthetic of the images. The work above is titled Martha in the Garden (2008), and the work below is titled As One (2008)
