My film will be made from a number of still images pieced together, and will therefore resemble old silent films, in which the speed was variable due to it being hand-cranked. Another work that uses this method is one of my favourite music videos, "Thirty-Three" by Smashing Pumpkins, directed by Billy Corgan and Yelena Yemchuk. It can be viewed here:
